Well, my "journey" began today...hopefully it won't be as long or as painful as others that I've read here.

Welcome! While your waiting how's about sharing your carry plans with us? Have you decided on a firearm and holster yet?

Sure, I recently picked up a SIG P239 9mm (love it!) and plan to carry it in a Don Hume 715 IWB. I'm currently looking for a Don Hume single stack magazine pouch to complete the rig...that about sums it up.

May I recommend wearing your holster when you're out and about? There's nothing illegal about it (of which I'm aware), and its good practice.

I did this while waiting. It got me accustomed to wearing something on my hip. And when I accidentally flashed my empty holster, no harm was done.

The NRA & TSRA are a bargain; they're much cheaper than the cold, dead hands experience.

Ok, never thought about doing that but I'll give it a shot. Thanks for the tip!
