Thanks Stef. Had to strap on the Glock 17 and go get a soda from the corner store, in shorts and a light, untucked button up shirt. Wasn't as nervous as I thought I would be.

I'm not sure that qualifies as a "Wally Walk" but it is still closer than I have managed so far.

Since it is sent out as bulk mail it sometimes has to go to several distribution centers before its final destination. He said that if I don't have it by next Friday to give them a call to see if it was returned. Let us know if you get ours Stef.
Wooooohoooooo! I have plastic.

Envelope is postmarked 6th July so I reckon yours will be arriving tomorrow papajohn.

Sweet feeling, right? I still take my CHL out, from time to time, and just look at it. There is power that courses through that plastic, an immense feeling of responsibility and the need to conduct my life in such a way as it can not be held against me. It will slowly lose some of that "magic" you feel right now, but it will never lose its importance.

I guess I'm bringing up the rear in the May class! Plastic came in on Thursday, September 1. It was about what I expected up front as it was "complicated".

I've carried everywhere I've been since. If it wasn't my Pre S80 Commander (mostly), I had my bug with me. Service dept at car dealership, visiting friends, Lowe's, restaurants, etc...

I'm just glad the wait is over!

Glad to hear it! It is a comforting feeling to be able to carry. It gets to the point you don't even think about it much. I almost goofed last Friday when picking up my daughter at the highschool. My XDm 3.8" 9mm compact is so comfortable in my SuperTuck that I got out of the car before my internal alarms reminded me that I had better not carry into the school. If I ever really screw up, it will be because carrying has become so second nature.
