How long does the background check take?

How long does the background check take? Mine showed up under review today.

Seems to be running around 3-4 days from what I've seen. Obviously if you have anything on your record that needs investigating it may take longer. Especially if it was out of state.

My application went to under review on the 16th, and changed to manufacturing pending today (16th and 17th were a weekend).

I've been told it depends also on whos desk it lands on. Mine went under review on the 16th also. However, mine didn't go to manufacturing like ComeAndTakeIt's.
I've lived in the same place for 10 years and I've never even had a speeding ticket. You'd think mine would shoot right through. So, who knows.

Mine took about 4 weeks at fingerprints and background check yellow... I called the peeps and they said it was normal and could be up to 60 days... finally went thru. just gotta be patient I guess.

Maybe not, but I think that camo all over your pickup is what's really holding you up.

Will they contact you if something shows up on your back ground that you don't know about?

My understanding of the laws is that if it's enough to deny you or make it last longer than 60 days, they are required to send you a letter telling you why.
