Ruger BX-25 magazine

#1

Post by jmra »

Finally, an extended round magazine that works flawlessly with the 10/22.

I picked one up at the Waxahachie gun show and had an opportunity to test it today. Worked perfectly. It is the first extended round mag that I have been able to shoot completely through without a failure in my 10/22. Will be looking to stock up on these guys.

The BX-25 uses the same feed design as the BX-1 which is the 10 rd mag that comes with the gun. I have never had an issue with the stock mag and so far it looks like the BX-25 will have the same reliability as the BX-1. I am a very happy camper!

Now just need to find the best price. I paid $27 at the gun show which is $2 less than what Ruger list them for.

Midway has them for $24.99. If you get 2 and buy something else for $1 you can use the $10 off coupon. Add $5 for shipping and that's $22.99 a piece.

Thanks. Might just have to do that.

Does Midway have them in stock? Last time I checked they were out of stock.

Yeah, I ordered one from Midway a couple of weeks back. These are really well made and seem to be very reliable so far. Midway is also running some really good deals on Leupold scopes right now. I picked up a shotgun scope to put on my lever action .44 mag and it's a perfect match.
