Hi,
The Texas DPS CHL web site indicated that my CHL was mailed on Friday, 27-May-2011. The web site was updated about 7:10 AM on Friday morning. I received my CHL at my house in San Antonio at 2:00 PM on Saturday, 28-May-2011. So it only took one day for the Post Office to deliver my CHL from Austin to San Antonio.

I received my CHL at my house in San Antonio at 2:00 PM on Saturday, 28-May-2011. So it only took one day for the Post Office to deliver my CHL from Austin to San Antonio.

Mine was mailed on 5/24/2011, received on 5/24/2011. However, the postmark was 5/25/2011.
So, depending on which day to use, it took one or two days. Forty-one days total from submitting the requirements until receiving the license. A very looooooooong 41 days.
