Re: Application mailed in May
Things I recommend to help you train for the waiting game....
1. Watch water boil
2. Paint a wall and watch it dry
3. Go fishing without using bait
4. Read a romance novel
5. Drive in rush hour traffic
If you can subdue your pain and master these tasks, waiting for status updates and watching your application "breeze" through the DPS process will still be hard
I bet you were hoping for a happy ending?

Personally I like, go hunting with a rifle but no ammo Line up the perfect shot on that 10 pt only to realize it's another 6 months before squeezing the trigger brings satisfaction!nbnight wrote:You forgot go deer hunting out of season and without a gun.

Re: Application mailed in May
My status on the DPS site finally changed from "waiting for the paperwork"
to showing the checklist and proceeding with the background check.
That took 18 days....

Re: Application mailed in May
I applied 5/23, FP scheduled for 5/27 and class on 5/28.
Unfortunately I won't get everything in the mail until the first week of June.
