Birthday Question Confirmed
I had my birthday the day before my status changed to manufacturing, and I did get the "extra" year on my initial license, so that pretty much confirms they consider it to be "issued" after all checks are finished and it's sent to manufacturing. I have five years now (minus two weeks). I'd like to think some kind tech saw my DOB and held it back one day before releasing it.. Probably just dumb luck though :)

Same thing seems to have happened to me back in October/November. I sent all my materials in at the same time my wife did, and she got her plastic about two weeks earlier than I did. Mine did not mail until after my birthday, accounting for the extra time. Congrats on receiving your plastic.
