Waiting to renew !

#1

Post by Show Killer »

Got my renewal packet in the mail last week. Have a renewal class scheduled for 1/13/07 and my packet will be shipped off that day. DPS should get it on 1/16/07. So, 60 days later would be 3/16/07 and my current license expires on 3/16/07. That's cutting it close.

Awful close. This is why everyone should get real busy as soon as you get the packet. My renewal took just over the 60 days. I had to do fingerprints 2 times. Any bobble & the time frame can start to lengthen.
Hope you get it in time.

Didn't really have a choice. My schedule is made for the entire month and i am working on the days they do the classes. I knew about the Jan. class enough in advance to request the days off work.

If i go over by a few days then oh well. I can't carry at work and that's really the only place i ever go. I hardly carry any more. Most of the time it is riding shot gun in the car. It tucks in really nice between the passenger seat and the console.

Getting ready to head out for my renewal class. However, my packet won't be shipped off until Tuesday seeing how Monday is a federal holiday.

The tests & paperwork are complete, now the 60 day wait begins.

Good job on both counts. Accademics & practical skills both are top notch.

Well, thank you sir.

I went to Bracken yesterday to get a little practice in. Put about 100 down range from the 7 yard line.

Just checked the website and saw this:
"Application Completed - license issued or certificate active"

So, it should be here by Saturday which will make it about 44 days for renewal.

Plastic came in the mail today. It was officially 43 days for my renewal to be processed. Not tooooo shabby if i do say so myself. Best part is, my old license was goin to expire in 2 weeks. I was kinda sweating it there for a little bit.
