Bro. Dave is Dave Keith
Male, born in 1950
Pastor of a small rural Baptist church in Hamilton County. Been here 27 years.
Retired from a parallel career in education, both secondary and post-secondary school

I got a CHL right after the initial legislation was passed, but foolishly let it lapse
(there have been times when finances were a little tight)
Went through the class again to re-establish my permit

primary carry: Sig 220 in .45 carried in a Mitch Rosen IWB that was originally called the Ayoob Rear Guard, but I think it has been re-named.
I also have a S&W model 24-3 in .44 special carried OWB in a slide

Married 38 years to a paragon of patience
2 grown sons
3 grand-daughters by the eldest son
youngest son still keeping some young lady happy by being single

Happy to have found this forum.

Thanks, Bro. Dave

Well I will be moving to TX in a few years and figured I may as well join up now.. from what I read thus far this is a great board with great info..

Currently living in the PA area, so when I do get out to my property (hopefully this summer) my PA CCP will be GTG in TX for my visit..

I have my survey being done, and I'm just off US-90 just South of Van Horn.. Turning 41 in July..

Figure a mobile home at first, then build my house on my 11 acres.. (9XX x 5XX approx) with power & a road on it.

Got to wait a few more years for my 9 yo son to get a little older before I (totally) move away from him and my ex-wife..

I've owned in the past Glock 30, Sig 228, Kahr MK9, Browning HP, Taurus CIA, Springfield XD9 (HS2000), Saiga 74, Saiga 47, etc....

Anyway.. just thought I'd say.. HI..

Welcome to Texas and the Forum Medic!
Since you're in Pearland you should swing by PSC. I hear great things about it and lots of forum members go there.

Hello all.
My name is Levi Silveira
26 year old male
Sheet Metal Worker/HVAC Mechanic

Been shootin since i was a kid. I was in Texas for a while when i was in the Air Force. I'll be movin back to Texas towards the end of summer. Looking forward to it. I plan on getting a CHL as soon as I cross the state line. Ive got a few choices as to where i can move to based upon work. What areas are good places for a gun owner/ single male to live in Texas? I'll be renting so the housing market isnt a concern.
