I took class Feb 13, fingerprints sent via FAST, and online application

Mailed packet Feb 14 via certified mail, recieved Feb 18.

My status was updated Mar 18.. 27 days for an update.

Been waiting on BG check for 24 days.. I am at 51 days. :banghead:

2 days from manufacturing to mailed then 4 days till it hit the mailbox

My wife's was 1 day from manufacturing to mailed and 1 day in the mail. We are in D/FW.

Official day 47 and still no change to my status. :waiting:
Hopefully by Friday.

Mine took 6 days from "manufacturing" to my hand...some of the longest 6 days of my life.

All I can say about this waiting game is it's a good thing that the DPS employees get paid by the hour and not by the number of applications they process. I had a top secret Crypto security clearance background check done in the military that didn't take half as long. My background check status has not updated in over 3.5 weeks. :banghead:

My background check (which is clean) took around 3.5 weeks as well...
