I think the OP makes a point but I'm a little hesitant to put to many more restrictions on our 2a. After all, you don't don't have to prove intelligence to vote but that might not a bad idea either. JMHO

Maybe education, FREE education is needed. I would be willing to coach newbies for Free. Bring Ammo and your gun and let us poke some holes in paper target.

A Friend is asking me to help him buy his first Pistol, I am thinking to get him a PX4 storm 9mm either compact or regular size (Home defense Pistol). He already shot my HK P30. Most likely there be more range visits to get him skilled with his new Pistol.

I recommend to all of you offer FREE coaching for your newbies friends.
