Beretta PX4 with two-tone finish?

#1

Post by Shiner »

Hey all.... relatively new to the site and haven't really posted. Had a question based on a pic on I saw on the "pics of your daily carry" thread.

Looking to get a Beretta PX4 .40 soon.... and have only seen it offered in all black with the slide having that "bruniton" finish from Beretta. However I noticed one poster apparently had this finish stripped or it refinished in some way that it was now two-tone.... with a true stainless slide. How is this accomplished? Is this something that must be done by a gunsmith? Would really like to get this done when I get my PX4.

Thanks.... hopefully not too dumb a question from a newbie.

Several companies do refinishing work.

http://www.ccrrefinishing.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

http://www.robarguns.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

http://www.customizedcreationz.com/home.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Not sure when it will be available, Beretta is going to offer the PX4 with an INOX (stainless) slide.

You might want to check Bass Pro. The store in Garland had two of them when I was there this afternoon.

Good luck and happy hunting.

Are you saying Bass Pro has two PX4s with the INOX (stainless) slide?

Yes - are you referring to the green ones (or the sand colored 45 version) - he is referring to one with a silver/stainless slide

Shipwreck is correct. The ones I saw were the stainless slide (duo-tone) versions.
