Good for you sir!
May you NEVER need it for anything but cardboard targets and steel plates.

Well, I wouldn't mind having to shoot some hogs with it... haha, but seriously, I hope all I ever NEED to shoot is cardboard and hay bales...Texas Dan Mosby wrote:Good for you sir!

Anywho, I definitely had the jitters the whole time! The girl I was with said she couldn't see it in spite of knowing EXACTLY where it was... Which helped me calm down a little. I'm hoping that over the next few weeks the jittery feeling goes away. I just can't help but think people can see the bulge that I sure as heck feel. Thankfully though, that VM-II is a freaking nice holster, and has great concealment.
Later that night I had to go back as I had forgotten to get batteries for my wireless mouse... So just for grins I took my G26 in its milt sparks Summer special just to get another toy inside of walmart. Definitely less jittery that time, but then again, I wasn't walking around or reaching high up for anything that go-round.

My gun felt huge at first. The longer you carry, the smaller the gun feels.firefighter3217 wrote: I just can't help but think people can see the bulge that I sure as heck feel.

Well done. Welcome to the club.
I am not and have never been a LEO. My avatar is in honor of my friend, Dallas Police Sargent Michael Smith, who was murdered along with four other officers in Dallas on 7.7.2016.

Fun isn't it?
For some reason, I was real jittery with my first time around a LEO. It all goes away and you'll figure out that nobody notices the "bulge" you may perceive except you (and maybe other CHL'ers).

Carry it often and I assure you it'll go away within a week or so. Even around the house as well to get even a better feel for it.
Congrats, man! I had to do it with my gf when I got my plastic. She was the best sport about it, too. Hope yours was as well.

It also won't be long until you feel naked without it.68Charger wrote:Carry it often and I assure you it'll go away within a week or so. Even around the house as well to get even a better feel for it.
