Interesting CHL stat for my zip code
Just thought this was interesting.
Checked the TX DPS stats on new CHLs issued in 2010 by zip code, and based on the size of my zip code area in square miles, there were 10 new CHLs per square mile issued in 2010. Wow. Gotta love Tx.
Maybe you can check the same for your zip code and post if interested.

You're not wrong. Active duty military can get it at 18. Also, the fee is waived.pcgizzmo wrote:If your in the military I believe you only have to be 18 but I could be wrong.

The CHL is Texas law. Federal Law still applies.Texas_Tactical wrote:I remember hearing something like this at one time. but does this also mean that if you in the military at 18 you can buy a handgun(e.g. academy, pawn shop, etc.)?
