Plastic or leather Holster
What would be best to use that is the easiest on the finish to keep
the ware to a minimum ,I have a cz rami that has a polymer finish.

I have both leather & Kydex. I believe the leather is easier on the finish.
Carry 24-7 or guess right.

I also agree. Leather is easier on a finish than kydex. But.... I have a need for speed and the kydex is much much faster.

I use whatever covers the trigger and works for me at the time.
I generally use the kydex, but I'll venture to the other side occasionally.

Normally leather is more comfortable for the wearer. However, you shouldn't store your gun in a leather holster. It can cause problems with the finish due to the chemicals used in the leather making process. Kydex resists sweat, is cleanable with just water, is faster than leather, and if a good deal of thought is put into it, can be just as comfortable.
I use Kydex for my PX4, but I do want one of those Milt Sparks VM2s that everybody seems to rave about.
To each his own, I guess.
