Anybody else interested in meeting up on the 15th of January? So far it looks like we will be shooting at Bass Pro and eating at the BBQ joint next door to BP.

I'll be bringing a couple of paper shredders and ammo. Also, I would be interested in knowing if anyone else would like to be involved in organizing a Texas self defense laws seminar from the Texas Firearms Coalition.HotLeadSolutions wrote:So far the list looks like:

Seems there are enough in the DFW area to warrant a seminar, and would show support for Mr. Cotton's new organization. I would expect this to be a constant topic of interest, especially among new CHLs like me.

Griffen - you should start a new thread for this. The question is too important to get lost in this one.Griffen wrote:I'll be bringing a couple of paper shredders and ammo. At the Bass Pro in Grapevine? Yeah, I'll come if I'm up in time. Fridays are late nights for me.HotLeadSolutions wrote:So far the list looks like:

I am not a lawyer, nor have I played one on TV, nor did I stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night, nor should anything I say be taken as legal advice. If it is important that any information be accurate, do not use me as the only source.

Sorry... I have to back out on the 15th. My boss wants me to travel now and teach some folks how to use equipment.
Y'all have a good time.

Thanks Crossfire, good suggestion. I have a bad habit of taking threads on a right turn off post.Crossfire wrote:Griffen - you should start a new thread for this. The 15th is still good for me. I'll shoot and eat.
I am not and have never been a LEO. My avatar is in honor of my friend, Dallas Police Sargent Michael Smith, who was murdered along with four other officers in Dallas on 7.7.2016.

Re: Anyone interested in a DFW Meet and Greet Jan 15th?
Are we still getting together on the 15th?
Last I heard was Bass Pro Shops range and Uncle Buck's Brewery or the BBQ place close to DFW.
Haven't heard anything new, so I thought I would bump this to the top.

Re: Anyone interested in a DFW Meet and Greet Jan 15th?
I contacted Bass Pro, and they said under no terms could they reserve lanes for us...No matter how many people show up. So we could end up there and have to wait for a lane to open up..and wait...and wait...
I talked to the guys at Dallas Gun Club on Mockingbird in Dallas, and they said they could reserve the lanes for us. I think DGC would be the better choice. There is a really good mexican food resturant around the corner from them (Uncle Julios) we could go to afterward.
So if your down to meet in D-Town...how does noon work for everyone?
