Do you have to get a new barrel in order to get it attached?
My Glock barrels don't have any threads to screw anything on.
I could see the benefits to one of these for home defense. The thought of me and my family having to hear my .357 SIG in the house in the event of needing to use it...
Up North they didn't hear about the Tax Credit incentive to reduce noise pollution?

I wish we could buy suppressors with just a 4473, but Americans have been so indoctrinated by Hollywood with "Silencers are for committing murder" that it won't happen. Doesn't mean I won't get a few once I'm out of school and move somewhere that's more NFA-friendly than Harris County.

I was too. I even went so far as to chat with a local Class III manufacturer about putting one on an 1895 Nagant revolver (mainly because, due to the gas seal, it's the only revolver that can effectively be suppressed, akaik). Turned out the tax stamp would be the cheapest part of the exercise, by a long chalk and I quickly became less curious.

Why would you care about how NFA-friendly Harris County is? Create a Trust and let it buy the can.

http://www.guntrustlawyer.com is an option to get a trust get set up. It is a bit more expensive (around $600) but a buddy of mine used them. The trust is set up to be a bit more specific when dealing with class III items. Plus you can get others set up as trustees so that they can have access to the items as well.
