Thanks DangerJ,

I've got several already. My wife asked when enough was too much.
I asked when enough shoes were too much. ;-)

I've got IWB, OWB, Pancake, I think I'll order a supertuck since I've seen so many people
ranting about them. I just hate spending so much on each holster unseen.

I've been wearing a Fobus paddle holster empty for a few weeks to make
sure I'm comfortable with placement of it, and keeping it from printing. I only
do it one or two days a week because my wife laughs at me for wearing an empty
holster. But I think it's helped me make some changes that will keep me from
showing when I don't want. I've moved my wallet from my strong hand side to my
weak hand side. Same with my keys in my front pocket. Reaching around to grab
my wallet on my strong arm side with the holster at 4:00 made me nervous that
I'd show. I'm getting better at it. My wife couldn't tell the last few times I carried it.

I have a fobus paddle holster but I am just not comfortable with the concealment of it with just a shirt over it. I usually just use that at the outdoor range so I don't have to leave my pistol on a table or walk around like a dork with the gun in my hand when I change targets. I think it will work fine in the winter with a coat on tho. I ordered the crossbreed holster so I could feel good about wearing it all day and it being concealed. I think it is good you are practicing where you will carry it. I have a glock 26 and thought about getting a pocket holster for some occasions but I always keep my wallet in my front pocket. Have always done that since my back surgery some years ago. I tried putting my wallet back in my back pocket but its just feels too weird to me. I'm sure I could get over it tho.

I also have a fobus holster but it prints even with oversized shirts. I just bought a don Hume jit slide holster for my g27 it holds it closer to your body and doesn't print.

Aarrgghhhh!!! :banghead:

Sounds like everyone was mailed today but me. My status is still in Background Review. Record is spotless so I cannot understand why it is taking so long. In fact, the FBI has already cleared me on 2 separate occasions in the past few years for more important ventures (neither of which took near this long). Maybe they are recognizing my name and think I am on one their naughty lists.. LOL.

I too have a FOBUS paddle holster. It is very comfortable but near impossible to conceal with the full size SA that I carry. I also have a couple of the 5.11 Holster Shirts and they are excellent! They are comfortable and no printing. Of course, you really have to wear them with the 5.11 Covert Casual shirt (or similar) over it to make quick access to your weapon realistic. I also have a drop leg tactical holster and I am praying for the day I can just wear that one everywhere and not worry about this conceal nonsense... heh heh! :thumbs2:

There doesn't seem to be any standard time frame. I mailed my packet on 8/31 and got my license last friday. Maybe they just shuffle all the aps when they get them. Hang in there... it is just a matter of time.

Checked today and my fingerprints are complete. Was actually a surprise as during the class a couple drops of Dr. Pepper managed to jump out of a can and onto one of the cards  :banghead:

Just waiting on the background to finish which in theory should take them all of about 30 seconds for me :p
