For years I carried a 649 in a Galco "Cop" ankle holster inside the edge of my boot. Just recently changed to the LCR for weight. Not a problem at all.

I usually carry using a Galco fanny pack when I ride. I know many decry them as screaming "concealed gun," but it's never drawn any attention. My entire riding outfit is black sythetic (Olympia Airglide pants and jacket), so the black, nylon fanny pack just fades into the rest of the black nylon and Kevlar (just try to find the gun in the pics below). I store my wallet & keys in the outside pocket, which is actually more convenient and comfortable than using the pockets on my jacket. When the jacket comes off at rest stops, my wallet, keys and gun are still with me and I don't have to worry about being seen transfering the gun from the jacket to my pants pocket. Also, the fanny pack method keeps the gun away from sweat, which is a major concern, as anyone who rides in the summer in Texas knows.

IWB 9 o'clock, same as when in the car, or wherever. Of course, I'm sitting pretty upright on the Harley. Haven't had a problem with my shirt exposing my rig, either. Quite often, though, I admit the wife's leg is there. Other times, when colder, perhaps shoulder rig under leather jacket.

IWB at 3 o'clock. I wear a good motorcycle jacket over jeans and it conceals very well. I shy away from shoulder rigs as they could be dangerous in the case of a crash. I also don't carry SOB, though that has become one of my preferred methods when I am not riding. To my way of thinking, the biggest issue is not keeping it concealed, but keeping yourself safe in case of a crash. While I don't use a fanny pack like warhammer, I do believe that a pack is probably the best option for motorcycle carry in the case of an unintended dismount.

Wing GL1800 with a Utopia back rest.
I try to maintain my carry habit, which is 3:00-3:30... OWB and covered with a long sleeve, long tailed over shirt.
The back rest, helps keep the shirt down.
Dismounted, take off the over shirt (or Jacket ) and just wear a dark colored T shirt.

I usually carry a CZ-75D-PCR in a nemesis pocket holster in the weak side, inside breast pocket of my riding jacket. This is my preferred carry location when riding. Although I'm not using a small "pocket" pistol, and it certainly fills up that pocket in all three of my jackets, it hides well there, is not poking me while riding and I think it's easier for me to deploy from there than IWB which would require me to completely unzip the jacket on all of my riding jackets. If I'm going on a very short ride and then doing something immediately upon arrival, or if there will not be an easy way to change from jacket pocket carry to IWB once I get there, I'll either rig up IWB before I go or keep the jacket with me the entire time (which is a pain, I rarely do this).

Also, I've recently acquired a Ruger LCR. I haven't carried it while riding yet, I know it would fit the same pocket even nicer than my CZ does.

Depends on what I am wearing that day. Hot days I may just have my 3AT in back pocket, Warm to cool days may have a 1911 or XD45 in inner vest pocket and cold days have it OWB under a jacket.

No, don't ride a sport bike. Kids call my the geezer cruiser. Its a Harley Ultra Classic.

Ha. true...the sport bikes are more stereotyped for the younger crowd but for those long rides...I wish I had a cruiser.

Sportbike carry would be pretty different from cruiser carry. I'd imagine the IWB would be difficult due to the riding position. What kind of riding gear do you usually wear? I think motorcycle carry is one of the times when we have to choose our carry method around our dress, and not dress around our carry method.

Yes..
Quick trip to a local store.. the XD .45 compact stays in its normal holster.
Dedicated ride for the day.. I use a ballistic nylon holster velcro'ed into an inner jacket pocket on my riding jacket or it's in the tank bag, outside pocket.
