OK. I decided to polish it with the sandpaper myself since everywhere Ive called wants at least $75 and will take over a week to get to it.
I spent about 15-20minutes and now it feeds every single hollow point from the Wilson mag and only had 2 fails in each of the stock springer mags(was every round). I dont want to over do it so im just going to purchase some more Wilson mags and consider it done.
Thanks everyone for reading and helping me out I really appreciate it.

1. I concur with using the Wilson mags. (only mags I use in 1911s)
2. After you put 500-1000 rounds of fmj through the gun, it will finish the ramp polish job and you are even less likely to have feed issues.

Reasonable gun control is hitting your target with the first shot.

I was amazed at what a good ramp job will do. Mine wasn't even reliable with FMJs before and now it will even feed empty brass.

Just got back from the range and had 0 malfunctions. Everything I put in it fed perfectly including the hollowpointsJeremae wrote:1. I concur with using the Wilson mags. (only mags I use in 1911s)

Re: 1911 JHP Issue
This is a well documented problem on the internet for 1911's. My new Colt 1911 Series 70 reissue also exhibits the same problem but only on the last round in the magazine. Conventional wisdom seems to be that you need stronger magazine springs and the dimple. My mags already have the dimple. It's very annoying and I haven't had time yet to buy and try different magazines or get my existing (Colt factory) magazines modified.
