Not always. I sometimes carry two. It depends if I'm going to Midland or Odessa. Lol :biggrinjester:

Gun on left hip. Claymore hanging on right hip. RPG slung over shoulder. M134 chain gun slung under left arm. Mk 19 grenade launcher slung under right arm. Victorinox Swiss Army Tinker Small Pocket Tool in right front pocket.

...Oh, and a .357 snubbie in left front pocket as a BUG. You never know when your primary could fail.

Gun and knife on both strong and weak side. I guess that Boy Scout motto resonated...

How many of you do this?
That's how I was taught when I went through training at Insights (actually, they teach you to carry one knife on each side, but that's not my bag, baby).

I have a slight advantage over most folks in that I'm left handed/left-eye dominant, but carry/shoot right handed.

Have always carried my phone on my weak side (right) for some reason. Just always did it that way.
Started carrying two knives a few years ago. I had been carrying a little Browning knife for a while. Not only was it was sharp and handy, but my teenage son had one just like it - we bought them at the same time, so it is special to me. Then I got a Benchmade and rather than choosing, I started carrying both - originally both on the strong side - Browning in the front pocket, Benchmade in the back pocket. Then, after reading something on this forum, it made sense to me to have a knife available to my weak hand, so the Benchmade moved to my weak side. Haven't had any tactical situations, but there have been a number of times where my strong hand was occupied, and I appreciated having a knife available to my weak hand. And yep, I can manipulate it with my weak hand just fine.

I have two left feet and no strong side. That's why I carry a gun in the first place, silly. If I had a strong side, I'd just use it to beat up criminals.

ok but seriously, cell phone and spare ammo on weak side. gun and knife on strong side. On occassions when I carry a BUG, it usually rides on weak side.

What's under my hat is a darkly held secret, known only to me, my hair, and the hat. Investigate further at your own peril.

And probably a couple more pockets wouldn't hurt either. ;-)

My thought is that if you carry a gun you also need to carry a cellphone.
They are both lifesaving tools that work hand in hand with each other when the unthinkable happens.

:iagree:

I got the phone before I got the gun.
Not me. I got the gun decades before the phone. :tiphat: And......

If you're one of those folks who talks constantly (and loudly) on the phone in public.... like in resturants, grocery aisles, inthe check-out line in stores, in restroom stalls and such..... :banghead:

You might ought to get a gun, cuz, one of these days.... I'm just gonna SNAP!
