Liability Insurance?

Post by charlieb »

Anybody have a good liability insurance company for CHL instructor coverage? Th range I want to utilize for classes requires insurance prior to agreeing to allow me to schedule classes.

Yes, get coverage through the NRA. You can get coverage on for NRA classes, or anything you teach. The "anything you teach" coverage is not limited to CHL classes either. I'm biased, but I think it's the best coverage available for instructors.

You can also get self-defense insurance coverage in case you have to use deadly force to defend yourself.

The insurance through the NRA is great. I know a CHL instructor who has been paying $ 1,000 +++ per year. With the NRA, it will most likely be under $ 400.
As an NRA Instructor and Training Counselor I have their coverage. As Charles said, the policy I have covers me for any type of firearm class I do.

Thanx,
