It should be sooner than that.

Mine went "Manufacturing Pending" on 6/30. Two days later (7/2) it changed to "Mailed".

I received my plastic on 7/6.

Well, my buddy got his this weekend. He turned in his paperwork 2 weeks after me. He had a small issue and DPS sent it back to him. He corrected it and returned it last week.

Mine is STILL under review. I have a spotless record.

I feel that it's the luck of the draw on who at DPS reviews/handles your application. Some folks just work harder than others! I really belive this is the issue with some of our applications that seem to take longer than normal with no excuses given.

......still waiting..........

Emailed DPS and they are sticking with the standard response of "It is taking longer than 60 days".
So that means all of you who recently received yours in less than 60 days really didn't receive it. Can you believe all this?

It feels like it's about time to re-new...

I keep saying i'm going to email them and see what they say but it sounds like it's pretty much a waste of time.

PLASTIC MAILED!

Rvrrat, if I remember right, you and I were received about the same time? It's been a long hard wait and now that it's over, it doesn't seem so long.

The bummer is this...

I am going to spend a week at the Jersey Shore! I should have my plastic in hand early next week. We leave on Thursday morning! I work International and PROBABLY

won't be able to make the Wally Walk until next month! Cheers to all. :biggrinjester:

Wife's plastic showed up on Wednesday! She sent in her app near the end of May and it got sent back once for a missing ZIP code, so all in all not too bad of a wait.

Have to say that the clips on the Crossbreed holsters are kind of a pain compared to the Comp-Tac clips. They clamp on like vice grips, which I guess is okay after you get it on, but putting it on and positioning it is a real hassle because it won't slide at all and gets all jammed up in your pants waistband.

When I ordered my SuperTuck, I also ordered the "J" hooks and I'm glad I did. They make the whole thing a LOT easier to use.

still no progress on mine......they told me last week that they were "finishing up on the last part of the background check." so now i wonder what their excuse is. i'll all but guarantee i have an employee handling my paperwork that only "meets requirements" or "needs improvement" on their performance evaluation. :)

Renewal paid for on 5.14.10, overnighted application packet same day and confirmed receipt on 5.15.10 and I'm still in review. It would be nice if the website could give a little more clear information as to where your application is in the process.
