Attempted murder, I think. No one died.

All four of these people are morons. I hate when stuff like this happens. It gives fuel to the antis.

Is there a missing post in this thread? It would appear so, unless it was split off from another thread.

Woman hospitalized in Channelview shooting

By ANITA HASSAN
Copyright 2006 Houston Chronicle

An overnight shooting that authorities first thought may have been the result of road rage was actually instigated by the couple who were injured in the incident, officials said today.

Danielle Burris,19, and her boyfriend were driving around the Channelview area with a BB gun that closely resembled a large handgun, shooting at people, houses, cars and signs late Wednesday night, authorities said.

One man, who was shot at in his driveway, and his brother Andrew Garcia, 17, went looking for the pair, authorities said.

Garcia brought along a real firearm.

I believe this is the story referred to in the beginning of this thread...

Looks like there's an update to the article:

"The men located Burris and her boyfriend in their vehicle at the intersection of Bear Bayou Drive and North Becker. When Garcia and his brother approached the vehicle, Burris' boyfriend pointed the BB gun at the men, authorities said.

Garcia then fired the gun he was carrying and struck Burris behind the left ear, causing her to lose control of her 1998 Kia, authorities said."

Sounds like Garcia should have called the police, but only fired in response to being threatened with a replica.

Apparently Burris and her boyfriend were complete idiots or had some kind of death wish (or both).

Those guys are perfect examples of not having any handdgun training, because everyone should know that you shouldn't leave the scene of crime and get involve in a provoked shooting.

What he should have used is the cellphone and call the police while following them. But you know people's egos get involve and now they have to face the legal system now.

In this case, nobody involved had a CHL. All four of the people involved will now never have one, since this arrest will be on all of their records for the rest of their lives. Thank goodness the system caught them before anyone was actually killed by their stupidity.

Welcome aboard mjstein. Glad to have you.
Yes never be able to get a CHL now. My experience w/ people has been that anyone who would do what is in this thread has most probably already done enough to disqualify themselves.
