OWB Blackhawk Serpa love it,very comfortable and its locked in place. If im just wearing a T shirt then a Crossbreed IWB works well for my 1911. For concealment its hard to beat IWB but for comfort u cant beat OWB just have to wear a button down shirt.

Re: IWB vs. OWB
I use OWB for range carry or out on the property. It is more comfortable.
But IWB suits me more for concealment. Pressed against the body well, and you only have to worry about hiding the top half. Don't have to get the ridiculously oversized shirt, just about any one of my "normal" T-shirt's does the job.

Re: IWB vs. OWB
Always wear IWB. I wish I could be comfortable with OWB, but too paranoid of a lack of concealment.
I also don't wear a holster that doesn't unclip. Sometimes it is necessary to enter an establishment that doesn't allow carry, I'd rather unclip and lock away than remove it from my belt or walk around with an empty holster at my side.

Re: IWB vs. OWB
I've been using IWB exclusively but haven't found the right one yet. So, I began asking myself the same question. Recently I ordered a 1-SL Pancake style holster with snap loops from Lobo Gun Leather. It's a high ride style designed to bring the weapon close to the body according to the craftsman. I just got an e-mail notice yesterday that my holsters (two weapons) plus magazine pouches are in the mail. I'll post a report in the holsters section soon. I have found the IWB easy to conceal and generally comfortable, just not quite right (intangible, I guess). If the new holsters conceal as well under my Guayaberras and the occasional suit coat then I think I'll have finally found my holster.
