This forum is by far the best;

Enjoyable discussions on guns, gear and tactics
Good info about CHL laws
Respectful discussions that provoke thought rather than anger

Thanks Charles for hosting us.

This forum has:

1. Helped keep me updated on current laws/pending legislation concerning our 2A rights
2. Helped me to think about scenarios which could happen in my day to day life
3. Tempted me to spend way more money on all kinds of guns. "rlol"

Thanks again to Mr. Cotton, the moderators, and the great members! This is my favorite site on the net and my second stop after checking my email.

1. I agree, this is a great forum for like-minded people to discuss CHL issues and gun laws in general, in Texas and around the nation, and still observe the 10-year old daughter rule.
2. Given me a chance to meet a couple of other members for a few afternoons of range time and more discussion.
3. Given me something to do other than watch reality shows with my wife!
4. I even garnered support from the Texas members to call and e-mail Iowa Governor Chet Culver to sign the new and completely revamped Iowa Concealed Carry Laws. If you hadn't heard, Governor Culver signed the law and beginning January 1, 2011, Texas residents with a valid CHL will be legal to carry in Iowa. Iowa did not recognize any other state's CHL, beginning in January Iowa will recognize all other state's CHL.

I have been on several other forums, but this is the best. One other forum does not recognize a .380 as a viable carry piece and won't let you discuss it. I left that forum.

Thanks Charles, mods and other members for a great forum!

:iagree: I have learned many things about CHL on the Forum. I have also learned much about other subjects on the Forum. Some are important, and some aren't so important. Some are nice to know and some are just entertaining.

I have made many Forum friends, and maybe a few foes. Some I know only on the internet and a few I know in person.

Charles Cotton provided the Forum. Not just the hardware and software, but the Vision. :tiphat:
Many CHL instructors [in my case ElGato] increased the membership of the Forum. :hurry:
The members of the Forum made it great. :thewave

Charles and the Forum Moderators have kept it that way. :thumbs2:

This is the best forum I have ever been a part of.

This is where I go to find answers to my questions and I get to associate with some of the best people I have ever met.

In addition to all the things already posted, I have:

Found and acquired my carry/competition/general purpose handgun.
Learned about new techniques.
Learned about new technologies (who woulda thunk it...the TactiCan of Sterno?!
Found a great group of folks who can share wisdom, experiences and good and bad times together, without judgement or unfriendly behavior.

Well done to all!

Many people have already said the standard answers, so I will not repeat those,
I will add, that I have found FRIENDS on this forum and some that actually live 8 houses from me (QUAHOG)
I have learned a lot of lessons here, that would have cost more than $ in real life, and for that, I am eternally grateful.
