They also had some WWB 100ct 40SW but I can only afford a little at a time.
Hey now, stay away from my Wal-mart while buying ammo. :)

sorry . . . haven't even looked . . . will try to get by there tomorrow
Stopped yesterday after work. They didn't have any. Told me that whenever they get some in, the first LEO who sees it calls all his friends and they come right in and buy it all up.

Ts in Texas City has .380
They also have 124 grain fmj for 9mm that is loaded for around 1200fps muzzle velocity.
This is similar to NATO loads and my defense loads, and is available at reasonable prices.

No sale, nicely stocked in 7.62, .223, 9mm Lugar, 9mm NATO & .40. I didn't notice any .380 or .45 but then again I wasn't really lookin for it either. They prob have some, they seemed to have a decent inventory.

You know what would be real cool???? If everyone finally started to get enough ammo in stock that this thread could get back on topic. After two years of "ammo available" instead of "ammo on sale", I for one am ready to see some places starting to compete for our business again. Let us all keep our fingers crossed. :thewave

SGC is having an ammo sale, I though some of you would find the .380 for $12 a box (of 50) especially attractive.

WWB of 9mm used to cost 20.5 now it is like 24. Good thing Federal has the lowest prices of $9.45 for 50 rd of 9mm and $14 for 20 rd of (30-06 for you rifle shooters).

And I do not seen Rem UMC anymore at Wally World, why?

I noticed the same on the WWB. The 100 round boxes used to be the way to go. In all calibers. They started sneaking up the price just after the great odumbell scare of 08. I have a cabinet full of the Federal now where as I used to have WWB. I am hoping all brands of ammo begins to come down now. I see 40 and 9mm in full stock at just about every place I go. Places like Ammo Man went plum off the wall with their pricing about the same time. I used to spend an incredible amount of money per month at ammo man and I have not placed a single order since he became so out of line with his prices. I do still check him every now and then hoping he regains his sanity...LOL.

Walmart at 183/620 in Austin had lots of 9mm, 40, and 45 in stock as of this weekend.

They had the federal 230gr 50rd for $15.97

Federal 9mm 155gr was going for $9.47/50rd

The WWB and others were still a little high on the prices, but they have TONS of it in stock.

Date and time of sighting: Sunday, 6/6/10, 1100 AM.
Location: Wal-Mart, Norwood Park (near 183/35 North corner), Austin.

They had plenty of most every caliber.

The big find was that they had about 600 rounds of .45 WWB.
This report is a few days old, but check this store if you need the manly round. :-)

You are very perceptive, grasshopper.

Usually I explicitly state the obvious.

I specifically mentioned that they had a batch of .45,
for those so equipped, and would have positively
mentioned it if they had some of that there rare .380 animal.

Did you know that .380 pistols are safer than other calibers?
It's because you can't find any ammo for them!

FWIW, the Cabelas in fort worth has tons of 380 target ammo on the selves as of this past Sunday. Didn't catch a price as I just happened to notice it as I was looking for my .45 shells, but they seem to be pretty well stocked.
