"rlol"

It takes guts to say something like that during a campaign, but he's just guaranteed my vote.

If he's not being prosecuted that's good news for those of us who may someday have to shoot a dog or other animal threatening our pets.

Now the forces of darkness (Bill White campaign) will be beating him like a drum over it from now until elections.
It appears to have happened in February - I'm just surprised that it was kept quite for this long.

Libtards make me want to puke! The complete ignorance of liberals is frustrating due to the fact that they are so darned ignorant, they can't be educated.

Flintlock LCP? That could be interesting.

I've been tempted to get one of the plastic training guns, a real barrel, and a lock to do something like this:

I guess instead of Flintlock....it's a FlintGlock "rlol" (sorry....I'm trying to work, but...)

So she didn't shout at all?

This woman must be lying about screaming during the attack.

Besides, if you scare them away from adults, they'll change to looking for kids:

You ought to send these links to the Governor's press office so they can cite the stories to those that protest that coyote's are not dangerous. Mark Miner is no longer there, but you can send them to Ashton Morgan at ashton.morgan@governor.state.tx.us. Would be good response ammo for those that fuss about coyote's being docile animals and his need to not shoot it.

I guess I thought no one could logically complain about someone shooting a wild animal to protect their pet...... but I was wrong. What was he supposed to do, cross his fingers and hope for the best?

Takes all kinds I guess.

You weren't wrong, they aren't complaining logically.

I didn't think you needed anything other than a Texas hunting license to kill any coyote, anywhere, any time, by any means. Was I wrong?

I'm pretty sure that you cant shoot them city limits (as most cities have ordinances restricting this type of thing), and I don't think you can blow them into a million pieces with dynamite either. A combination of the two is definitely a no no. :biggrinjester:

You are right, city ordinances prohibit shooting them in the city limits (hunting them anyway).

And no, you can't use dynamite. Besides, everyone knows dynamite is for fishing!!

But, if you are not hunting, but as The Gov was doing, out with his dog, and a Coyote comes up and starts to attack, am I legal to shoot it?

Yes, state statutes allow the use of deadly force to protect livestock or domestic animals. Not so say you may have some 'splainin' to do to the police, but it is legal.
