Re: Introduce yourself
Hello all, I am Brad, born and raised in San Antonio, TX. I'm 31 and am married (7 years) with a 14 mo old son. I am an engine research and development engineer with a passion for turbocharged cars, guitars and firearms. I received my CHL less than a week ago and feel privileged to be part of a special group of people. My wife is not a CHL holder yet, but has plans on getting hers this summer. She is already an avid and proficient handgun shooter and will do well to have her license. Hopefully I can add something to this excellent forum. My current list of firearms includes: Taurus PT1911, S&W M&P40, S&W M&P9JG (wifes), and a 1943 WWII production Walther P-38.

I learned about this site from M9FAN after meeting him a while back. He's right about this site being laid back not full of trolls

Welcome texasmacdaddy. Much more laid back here in Texas than Florida I would assume. Those are all nice guns you have there as well. We look forward to seeing you around on the forum!

Re: Introduce yourself
Greetings everyone. My name is Chris. I'm a 30 year old Texas native. I do not have my CHL yet but I am scheduled to take my training course and qualify on 4/24/10, so with any luck, the remainder of the process will be swift and I will have my license soon. I've browsed these forums a bit already and from what I can tell, I believe I will enjoy spending time here. Thank you all for having me.

Re: Introduce yourself
I guess this is the place to start! I've been lurking for a bit and thought I would pop in and say hello. Thanks for the great info. I've had my TX CHL since 2009 and am proud to live in a state that supports my 2A right. (even if the open carry battle is far from over) Thanks again! I hope I can contribute at least something to the forum
