Arrrgh, I will have to cancel my previous commitment (and that of my wife's) to attend.

I'm sorry for the late notice, but it looks like I'll be out of town.

I've been looking forward to this event, maybe I'll have better luck next year.

Put 1 down for me and 1 for a guest(father).

Not sure which classes we would like to take, just have to see if there's free space in any of them I guess.

Thanks

I had already RSVP's for myself, and mentioned an interest in the Awareness Seminar.

I just persuaded one of my daughters to come. Please sign both of us up for the Awareness Seminar and the IDPA clinic, if they're still available.

Thanks,
Scott

I'd like to update folks on the RSVP request. Last year we had a total of about 18 people attend the TexasCHLforum Day. This year, we're closer to 100! Since we had no idea what seminars people would want to attend, we asked for RSVP's to help us plan for them, as well as the food.

Our classroom can seat about 35 people comfortably at tables. We were worried people may find themselves standing during the presentations or perhaps even not being able to get into the room. Based upon the RSVP's so far, none of the seminars are going to fill up, though that could change as we get closer to Saturday.

I've spoken to several people who said they can't decide what seminars and/or shooting clinics they want to attend, so they haven't sent an RSVP. I suspect many people are in this situation, and we don't want anyone thinking that the lack of an RSVP means they can't come to a particular seminar, even if there is room available. We plan to post a list of RSVP's at the Blue Building so people can add their names anytime during the day.

We will be handing out a feedback sheet during registration. Please give us your thoughts on what you liked, what you didn’t like, and what you’d like to see next year. Last year we had a good time meeting folks, but it was pretty much limited to a fun day at the range. Although we have hosted the Texas State IDPA Championship for six years running, this year’s format for the TexasCHLforum Day at PSC is plowing new ground for us. We truly want your feedback and are not merely fishing for compliments. We can foresee this event growing dramatically over the years and I firmly believe it’s an excellent format for new and experienced shooters to come together so we can have fun and learn from each other. With your input, we can make become a reality.

I look forward to seeing you folks on Saturday!

Chas.

Charles...

I've done a cursory check and didn't find a schedule of the times of the seminars and shooting clinics...

I'll keep looking, but as long as there is not a conflict...I would like to put Esther and I down for these events...

Seminars:

Awareness (both Esther and I)
Women and Guns (Esther)
Deadly Force (Steve and Esther)
Firearm Cleaning and Maintenance (Steve)

Clinics:
Drawing and Shooting (Esther)

And I don't know if its a clinic, but Esther and I want to duel on the Texas Stars...

I think the Texas Stars are basically therapuedic (sp? ) and a great way for your wife to "think" she can beat you at something...hardy har har...

I would like to confirm that I will be bringing a guest with me (Jay Brousseau). I would like to add him to the list with me for the Deadly force seminar, and add both of us to the Awareness seminar.

I am really looking forward to this. Thanks again to Charles and the PSC'ers.

I would like to take the following:
9 am Basic Firearms Safety
9:45 Awareness: key to survival
10:45 Deadly Force & the Aftermath
1pm Women & Guns

2pm CHL fashion show ?

3pm Use of Cover & concealment

I'm not sure what Daddy will want to take, if anything.

The NRA & TSRA are a bargain; they're much cheaper than the cold, dead hands experience.
