Re: "Waiting Room"
I'm getting emails from Ladies who have received their license in 20 days! This is GREAT after the long period when people were waiting 6 months or longer!
Re: "Waiting Room"
Finally mailed my packet today! Took the course nearly a year ago. Man, time flies! I still have not heard for sure if you have 1 year or 2. It was the paper form handed out by the instructor, not downloaded from DPS. Sad thing is I took the course once before, right before my twins were born in 2005. Let time expire before I sent it in- but I was a little busy (and broke) with newborns. Now it's my turn in the waiting room.

Re: "Waiting Room"
I did the same thing...took the course a year ago, and then waited almost a year to mail it off. I am glad I finally did it, and I've been packing every day since the plastic arrived.quickerNu wrote:Finally mailed my packet today! Took the course nearly a year ago. Man, time flies! Re: "Waiting Room"
I see "PIN" referenced on a number of peoples "Waiting room" replies.
My instructor also talked about it briefly, that you get the PIN from the DPS.
When do you get it? And how? is it emailed or snail-mailed?
I filled out the application online, and I expect they will send me a copy of the app that with my packet (I already have a packet from my instructor), I will have to send back, but does the PIN come with that? or ?
Thanks

Re: "Waiting Room"
If you register online, you get the PIN with the rest of your packet in snail mail (unless something has changed recently).
