Exactly 30 days from mailing the application to receiving the license. :thumbs2:
Pretty good compared to turnaround this time last year!

i emailed them while "processing application" and was told by email within an hour and a half(early morning emails) that license was being printed, should receive it within 1-2 weeks. Then it was completed two days later.

What is the email address that you wrote to? I would lke to check my status.

Astro,
I'll bet that before you get an email response, you'll likely find your PIN in the mailbox. Waiting is the hardest part. It'll show up before you know it.

Just got a reply to my email to dps. They said my application is "almost" complete, so who know if that means 2 days or 2 months. I guess I'll just have to wait and find out... While trying not to put my head through a wall. :banghead:

interesting info found out today
I sent in packet on 2-16-10... Money orders cashed few days later, pins received 3-3-10. Mine and wife's were all together, received pins same day in the mail.
I had a deferred adjudication in my past, but sent in certified disposition from court clerk and all with papers.
It has said "processing application" since the day I got our pins. I called today, to check on any change. I was told that a technician started reviewing mine on 3-4-10, and should be done with it within 3 more days so long as there is nothing more to the DA than reported. Then it will go to printer and be sent out..
So with that in mind, I might be able to start looking for it towards the end of NEXT week..
But the wife's still says processing too.. If a tech has had mine since 3-4-10, I would assume that my wife's is already ready?? Hers had no hitches to it at all..
I am excited about getting mine soon.. But even more excited about her getting here in the next few days...
dang, patience is hard to come by.. LOL
If you find your self in a fair fight, your tactics obviously suck.

cwohardy,

Congrats!!! :tiphat: Good luck on the Wally Walk. I'm sure you will do fine. My first two trips to Wally World were smooth as could be. I did find myself looking for 30.06 signs to just make sure. There were not any posted so I was good. Take pics if you can. :txflag:

AS of 12 March 2010 - Still Processing Application - I am aware that because of some Military Security Clearances I may be delayed a bit.

1st post on this forum, I've been reading a lot and learning a lot more. Glad to see a place like this.
