HELLO TEXAS! :cheers2:

Newbie here from Florida. Found your forum and thought I would drop in and say hello. I am from, and live in, Florida but your great state holds a big place in my heart. I used to live in the NW area of Houston ('87 grad of CyFair HS), and my mother and sisers are still there.

NICE PLACE YOU HAVE HERE! :cheers2:

Mid-40s
Female
Software Engineer/computer programming
Married (to Chemist45 - hence the handle)
No kids
Texas CHL: ~3 years
Years since first CHL: 14, although one intervening state didn't deem me worthy of legally protecting myself

First shooting experience I was probably 13 or 14. Really kicked my interest into gear when I started dating my now-husband about 12 years ago.

I have a variety of makes/models/calibers that I own. Mostly handguns, a few long guns. Not sure I could pick one as a favorite. They almost all have their good points. Kind of like children - you love them all in their different ways.
