USA1:
Thanks for the Bersa article and the nice video.
I agree with the author that the Bersa seems to be
a good value in that the craftsmanship seems fine,
but the prices are very reasonable.
Did you say that your current Bersa purchase is your
2nd? Do you still have the 1st one?

I have a bersa thunder 9. like everyone says, it is very accurate. UBG holsters makes a very nice leather holster but i kept getting the feeling the pistol was coming out of the holster. it was not coming out of course. i also have a crossbreed supertuck with some retention that is much more comfortable.

The first one got sold when the .380 ammo famine was in full force.surprise_i'm_armed wrote:

The second (current) one was picked up the other day because I couldn't pass up the deal on it.

Is the one you have now the CC version? The one I got yesterday is the CC version and my only complaint with it is the sights. So small it's tough to see. Is there anyway I could paint them or something to make them more noticeable?USA1 wrote:The first one got sold when the .380 ammo famine was in full force.surprise_i'm_armed wrote:

No, the one I have is just like the one in the above video...(all nickel finish)shortysboy09 wrote:Is the one you have now the CC version? As far as the sights..I've never seen the CC version so I can't speak much about the sights.
I would imagine you could use some sort of white paint with a toothpick to brighten or enlarge them.

I use bright orange Testers-brand model car paint (available at any Michael's or Hobby Lobby) to paint the little fixed front sites of my J-frame revolvers. Works well, very bright, stays on for quite a while as long as you don't inadvertently scrub it off while cleaning. And if it does scrub or wear off, just re-apply. One little bottle will probably last the life of the pistol.USA1 wrote:No, the one I have is just like the one in the above video...(all nickel finish)shortysboy09 wrote:Is the one you have now the CC version? I think he's talking about this. Its pretty much a point/shoot gun but no snagging. I like the sighted one much better but thats just me.USA1 wrote:No, the one I have is just like the one in the above video...(all nickel finish)shortysboy09 wrote:Is the one you have now the CC version? Well, I guess they'll get the job done if you don't use them. ..Kinda like the LCP.

EXACTLY! Very small. Almost non-functional. I'm going to take austinrealtors advice and see if that make it easier to see them.USA1 wrote: WOW, Those sights are small.
