The DPS must send things out in batches. Yesterday (02-12-2010)I got my PIN in the mail. The letter was dated Feb. 2 and it was post marked Feb. 10,2010. I agree with the other post about everything going to a big mail room and you have to hope it gets put in a good pile. 8 days postmarked after the letter date?

I'm amazed--completed the class 1/16, mailed my packet on 1/18. Received my PIN notification on 1/27, and my license arrived in the mail today. Just 26 days mailbox-to-mailbox!

Congrats Reverendbiker! Very quick!

Got my pin letter in the mail today as well and now I am in the processing application phase. Went to Top Brass in Houston and bought some conceal clothing then to Carter Country for some ammo all in all a good day :mrgreen: !!

Not really wanting to cause anyone further mental grief, but is Monday (tomorrow) February 15th, 2010 a :shock: State HOLIDAY?
Anyone know if DPS CHL personnel will possibly work on State HOLIDAYS? "rlol"
Oh, well I'm a "W", so I'm use to being at the back of the line - I'll just quitely go be to waiting and watching. :totap:

Well, after looking at the chart, it seems as though it should be any day now. Seeing the majority between Average of 22 days, day 20 for me... HURRAY!

I just called Austin and was told my license was issued today........YEAH. Now to wait for it to show up in the mail.
