I think Josh made a good choice, can't wait to go to Cape May and see him graduate!cgxd9sc wrote:Twenty years Coast Guard last five Recruiting in Minneapolis and Recruiting Supervisor New Olreans.
My son has been in the USCG for almost two years. He graduated from Cape May in January 2004. Being there to watch was the proudest day of my life.
Josh spent almost a year stationed in Omaha NE working a river tender on the Missouri River. Then he went to Clearwater, FL for a couple months. (He is going the aviation route). Right now he is finishing up "A" school in Elizabeth City NC...Then back to Clearwater.
The USCG was by far the best thing that ever happened to him. He loves it.
Congrats on your son's accomplishments. You will be impressed by the whole organization. A great group of people.

It was great t od osee him graduate in Cape May. He has been home for 10 days and he leaves for Key West tomorrow. He is so excited. He wants to go to A school for AST. He is a great swimmer and he love jumping out of planes. So jumping out of a Helo will do. Sure will miss him tho, he has been part of my life for 22 years, now he heads off to start his own.kyreb wrote:My son has been in the USCG for almost two years.
