Oh, I thought you meant the seminar. Sorry, now the "nope" is for real. There are ways you can work with the club and reduce or eliminate the dues, but you're in College Station so that's really not practical.

The Seminar is on - almost

The PSC Board of Directors approved the seminar and the date, Sat. 6/25/05. I have to confirm that the date is still open on the calendar, but the Chief Instructor that handles the calendar was not at the meeting tonight.

I'll post the final confirmation as soon as I get an email from the CI. At that time, we'll ask for an RSVP for all who plan on coming. We should be able to handle about 30 people, perhaps a few more.

At this point, I’m not sure how long the seminar will last, but a rough guess is between 2 ½ and 3 hours.

Regards,
Chas.

It's been a month since you posted that the PSC Board approved the seminar, but I haven't seen any post since. Is this still set for 6/25/05, and if so, do you still have space available? If so, please put my name down.

Thanks

Well this is what a Friend that is a criminal lawyer told me if I every had to shot the Badguy. To tell the cops the truth and only the truth and in that keep repeating I FEARED FOR MY LIFE or I FEARED FOR THE LIFE OF (ie wife, kids, the other person) but keep repeating that over and over.

Its a good idea to talk to a lawyer and find one that is PRO GUNS and Pro CCW.

this is my opinion and its just some Advice that you might want to think about.

Okay, I have final approval (i.e. building reservation) for the free legal seminar to be held on Saturday, June 25, 2005 at the PSC range in Friendswood, TX. Follow the link to the map page (it's a large bitmap, so it may be slow loading.)

The seminar is free, but space is limited to about 30 people, so I need folks to RSVP if you are coming. This will be the first time we've done this, so I can't give an accurate estimate of the length of the seminar. The question and answer period will also have an effect on timing that we can't predict.

Regards,
Chas.

We're not sure, but I suspect we'll start around 9:00 or 10:00 am. It will depend somewhat on how many people are driving in from a good distance away. If most folks are local, we'll start earlier.

Either time is good for me. I am used to getting up at 5:00am. Not that I want to on any Saturday. :D

I have had a problem with an over-zealous spam filter diverting some emails that were not spam. I've been working on the spam scale index number, but I want to make sure I don't miss any emails for people wanting to attend the seminar.

Starting sometime tonight or tomorrow evening, I'll post a sticky in the General Texas CHL Discussion forum listing the people who are signed up for the seminar. If you sent an email and are not on the list, then let me know by PM here. If your first email got diverted, there's no reason to send another one. Also, I'm sending responses to RSVP emails, but I'm doing this list just to make sure I don't miss anyone.

Regards,
Chas.
