If everything goes like my app did then you should see you status changed to ( Application Complete )by Tuesday or Wednesday next week. Which, I would think the plastic will be in either Saturday of that week or Monday the following week. Good luck!

That's just what I'm guessing.
You guys are killin' me over here!

It looks like I won't be joining the 30 day club. Didn't think I would, 'cause I've lived in two counties in the past 8 years (Dallas/Kaufmann) and that appears to be a key - one county, and a large county at that.

Still, though, I really didn't expect to get it so quick - although I had hopes. I suspect it'll probably be closer to what they told me in CHL class - 60 days. That would put the plastic in my hand the first week of February. That's not bad compared to what it has been recently.

Congrats to all the 30 day winners!

Howdy all!

Moved back here after 17 years from the "firearm friendly" state of New Jersey - arrived 12/5. Took the CHL class (AIO @ Bullet Trap) on 12/18. Sent it in on 12/21, received on 12/24. Haven't heard a peep since, and figure that since I'm a Jersey "relo" it'll take extra time to process. I may get lucky, however, because I've been a holder of a NJ firearms ID card - hoping that will speed things up since that requ :cheers2: ires an act of God to get approved ... ha!

Anyway, been lurking and will keep updating as things progress.

Cheers! :cheers2:

Holy Moly!

I checked my status at DPS yesterday before I left work for the day (5:30pm) and my status was Processing Application. I checked this morning and the status is now Application Completed - license issued or certificate active.

I would never have thought it would have been this quickly. Guess I get to join the 30 day club after all!

Yippee!

Guess I should update my profile. Living in Collin County (Allen) - what a great town, although they do like their speed limits, here! :txflag:
