surprise i'm armed: My response to Oldgringo's post is in no way related to any stress related to the situation about which I opened this thread. While I may have just 26 posts in this forum, I am not a stranger to the medium and have thousands of posts on other boards. In any case, and regardless of my post count, admonishment about any perceived ungratefulness on my part regarding my employment situation is both unnecessary and undesired. I posted this thread in this forum so as to garner the opinions of a specific subset of CHL holders regarding a specific issue. I make no apology for my reaction to Oldgringo's condescending post, which adds no value to this thread. Thank you.surprise_i'm_armed wrote:FAAPOD:
Sir, I realize that you are somewhat stressed about the prohibitions
on your carry options and are looking for alternatives.
Your posting count indicates 26 posts.
Let me make you aware that although we on the forum have differing
opinions on politics, self defense tactics, and weapons choice, we strive
to be agreeable in our posts.
Your above remarks to Oldgringo border on a personal attack and is out
of character with our discourse on this board.
Thank you.

ScottDLS and rm9792 - thank you for your additional insights. This is the kind of direct experience with the situation that I had hoped to uncover when I opened this thread.

FAAPOO's Junior Member remark struck me pretty much the same way; however, I chose not to lower myself to challenge his ungentlemanly and sophomoric personal attack. What goes around usually comes around.

OK guys, drop the bantering now. Keep the responses on topic and not personal or don't post, period.

Perhaps find a new place of employment where your employer is ok with you carrying a firearm? Otherwise it is their company, and you should respect the rules.
