Apparently he has more time in the morning than I do.

The NRA & TSRA are a bargain; they're much cheaper than the cold, dead hands experience.

Ya know. I was thinking. If you're going on the "BLING" aspect. If you put one of those on a big, thick gold chain, then you could wear it as jewlery. You could openly carry concealed. I've seen smaller and LESS colorful stuff in a kiosk in the mall. All you have to do is get a 3 carat fake diamond earring in one ear, and put another necklace with a marijuana leaf on it, and you're in urban cammo! No one would ever notice its a gun. Of course, you'd have to work on being tactically prepared in your new wardrobe also. You'd have to learn how to modify the Weaver stance in pants with the crotch down to your ankles and wearing flip flops. But it's worth it!

Seriously, are those real limited editions by Kimber at some time? I know they had the swirly anodized frames a few years ago in the tiny little 1911, but I've never seen those.

And it would be fun to go to a competition with it. I've seen race guns that look crazier than that. A guy that does duracoat here once did a shotgun in pink for a skeet competitor. I say go for it!!

Ok, well, I think its kinda cool to be honest.

Remember....nobody can see you carry gun, right. Concealed means concealed!

Now....I think you have open carry in NM and well, heck, if you wanna rock that thing, more power to you.

I had to do a little digging in the archives, but ya know what they say, A picture is worth a thousand words. I believe this picture of Seadawg explains the bling gun fetish.

Just to be difficult...

The technical definition of a Barbecue Gun is a gun that you can wear in front of the Governor's wife without causing alarm or offense. Naturally, this necessitates engravings, inlays, fancy grips, and an appropriate holster, preferably of Western style.

Take away the second first, and the first is gone in a second.

I have that picture because I like the color purple. If I ever decided to get some kind of pimped-out BBQ gun, it would probably be something like this. So far I am not partcularly tempted, but that may be because I have more practical gun purchases planned, first. ;-)
