No joy in the mailbox tonight. The holiday will add an extra day or two to the time. :waiting:

Nope. All we had was a crummy Netflix ad featuring holiday specials. -_- We're hopeful for tomorrow though!

Waiting on the postman I think is worse than waiting on DPS.

Cutest thing - we checked the mail twice today just to be sure, and as we're driving back from our weekly Target shopping he very meekly goes, "I guess there's no point in checking it again today..."
Awwww. I hope it comes tomorrow, he's so anxious to get it. :)

Hey folks, new applicant here.

11/07/2009 - CHL class
11/09/2009 - Forms and check handed in to DPS in person in Austin
11/14/2009 - Received pin by mail
11/14/2009 - "Application Processing"

.... waiting!

It's only been 3 weeks since they received the app so I'm not antsy yet, although it seems some of you are getting approved fairly quickly.

No dice for us either. Hubby had his holster and weapon, I had my camera...we were ready. Getting the mail was a big disappointment. We're also going out of town tomorrow but are going to hold off leaving until the mail comes. :smilelol5:

So you don't want to leave the house unarmed? ;-)

I am leaving for the airport this morning so I have to wait until Thursday.
