WEBSITE STILL SAYS "PACKET MAILED"

well i sent all my paperwork in on 10/22/09 , they recieved it on the 10/24. i have my pin but when i check the website it still says "packet mailed to applicant".

that's 4 full weeks , any idea when i might see an update ?

Mine took aout six weeks to change.....

It took mine 5 weeks. You should be getting very close.

The day I received my pin the status was 'processing application'. Of course, it was about three weeks from the date that DPS received my application before I received my pin. See my signature block.

i paid and signed up on line months ago so wghen my packet arrived in the mail i had my pin.

Inasmuch as you have a PIN, it is reasonable to assume that the CHL folk know of your application. Have you thought of giving those fine folk a call?

Starting around noon tomorrow, the country and governmental agencies once again go pretty much into Holiday Season mode and not a whole lot gets done until mid-January. Perhaps you'll be surprised with your plastic for Christmas but don't hold your breath.
