Welcome one and all

I don't have a Mustang but I do have more mosquittoes than I need. Anybody need any?

My wife and I are going to visit PSC this after noon and hope to join very soon.

ps.Picked up some 9mm and .45 (WWB 100 count) in Wally World on 646 and I45 today.

Ditto on the mosquitos! I think you're going to love PSC. Maybe hubby and I will run into y'all out there sometime. :thumbs2:

Welcome JStevens.

Bacliff is just down 146 from us. There have been some pretty scary incidents in Bacliff so hurry up and get that carry weapon. You owe it to yourself and your loved ones to be prepared.

Now for those of you that don't know the area Bacliff is about as close to a cliff or anything resembling a cliff as I am to the Pope!....unless there is some definition of 'cliff' I have missed all these years! "rlol" Bacliff is about as flat as an armadillo crossing I-10

Bacliff was known as Clifton-by-the-Sea early in the 20th century. The source of both names is lost to history.

Thanks kevinf,

Yeah, Bacliff is pretty dang scary. I do NOT walk or jog in our neighborhood because if I don't get hit by a speeding car, I will be mugged, kidnapped or solicited with drugs. I will be mailing the CHL packet pronto and am counting the days until we move from the G-H-E-T-T-O.
I am definitely excited about joining this forum, it is full of nice people and great information!! Its also comforting to know that there are so many people (although not enough) out there who are educated about firearms and supportive of our second amendment rights.

Welcome Jstevens8715!

I'd like to take the opportunity to invite you to the Women's Program at PSC Range tomorrow morning. You don't have to be a member of the range to participate. Registration begins at 8:30 and we're usually out there until about noon. We have a great time and we learn a lot!! Check it out if you have some free time.

Oh I understand the work thing. Gotta pay for all that ammo somehow.

You probably already know...but the Women's Program happens on the first Saturday of every month. If you don't work every Saturday, try to come on out. It is wicked fun!

See you out at the range.

Mail that application asap, the wait is bad enough without adding your own delay in there. :tiphat:

Where did you take your class?

I took my class in Texas City at Elite Sound & Security. Its a family owned gun store and the wife taught our class. It was really enjoyable and they seem like good people. We have done business there before.
