Bud, you have nothing to worry about. When I started carrying my Millienium I thought it felt enormous,
and that the whole world was staring at me.

Over time all noobs will relax since they realize that everyone you meet in public has no idea that you
are carrying. Your weapons are quite concealable.

Since I begam carrying on 1/23/09, my Millenium has shrunk considerably and I never worry about
being made.

In fact I'm considering getting a 4" or 5" 1911 or Springfield XD or XDM.

Then I'll have my "big boy" gun!! :-)

The only thing I would do differently is put the BUG into a pocket holster. You don't have to spend a fortune on one Uncle Mike and DeSantis both make very serviceable holsters for $20 or less.

Umm, that's fat???

Uh-oh.

By the way, you're not printing. I print way worse than that sometimes when I'm in town and I never get a second look from anyone.

Yeah, I agree, I definitely wouldn't want to pull a plaxico and get the trigger snagged on anything, so I do use this holster (DeSantis Superfly):

It works pretty well at not coming out with the gun when you draw it.

I couldn't see anything to noticeable so you are good to go I would think.

It's crazy I got my plastic a week ago and haven't carried since I got it...but I also haven't been anywhere either...just work and back mostly.

I had been carrying a p64 prior to "plastic" but I think i'll switch to my wife's rossi .357 in a IWB holster from uncle mikes.

You are concealed. Like all have said, no one notices anyway.

I agree that that you may want to use a pocket holster for the BUG. I use an Uncle Mike's for my LCP. :txflag:

I see Paris
I see France.....

Your fine....and no I am not hitting on you!

I carry a Glock 21 in shorts and a t-shirt. Just bend at the knees when you have to pick something up and no one will know. The only problem I have is keeping my pants up with that much extra weight from the guns pulling on them. I carry my P3AT BUG weak side and that seems to help.

What holster is that? I carry the same MP and my hoster makes it stick up higher. When I sit down I can feel it pulling my shirt out real far. Hard to find good ones for the MP series.

It's a comp-tac mtac holster. It does pul my shirt in when I sit down or bend over, but I do a quick shirt tail pull-down maneuver to retain my concealment.

Don't change the wardrobe. The BG's see a Hawaiian type shirt coming, and they will stand way clear of you. :thumbs2:

That little .357 is a lot of BUG. Nice gun though. Wish I had one, although I would use it as a primary carry for those occasions when I carry my 642. I rarely ever carry a BUG... ...unless I'm with my wife... ...then she carries it.

Oh, and I echo the others. Don't worry about printing. It's mostly in your mind. Even if you were printing, most people won't be able to tell what it is. As long as you're not intentionally failing to conceal, you're good to go.

I don't remember, but do the words print or printing appear in any Texas PC, law, rule, regulation, etc., regarding CHL?

Actually, it states that the gun can't be detected by a "reasonable person". Believe it or not, even if a LEO did see it, he's not considered to be a "reasonable person", according to my CHL instructor. By "reasonable person", they mean civilians. I think you'd have to be printing really hard in order to be detectable by a "reasonable person".
Took class, paid fees, changed my mind. I want constitutional carry.

I have the Comp-Tac / MTAC IWB for my M&P 9 compact. Been carrying for a week and is not noticable by anyone that doesn't have a clue. In fact, because I can't carry at the office, fed. building, I have to leave my 9c in the car in locked glove box. Went to lunch the other day with a co-worker and unlocked the glove box after getting in. I did not re-arm until after arriving at the destination and the co-worker exited the car. I "fumbled around looking for the cell phone", when actually was placing the gun in the holster. After eating we arriving back in the parking lot, when he exited the car, I dis-armed and put the 9c back in the glove box and he still had no clue and really didn't care what I was doing. It took me just a few seconds to do all this. He knows I was applying for the CHL, but didn't know I got it, so I asked on the way back into the building if he could tell I was wearing the empty holster or if he knew what I had done. No clue.

That day I actually tucked my shirt in, so re-arming took a little extra time just to make sure the shirt was tucked enough to look somewhat natural. If i wear my shirt untucked, dis-arming and re-arming is a lot faster.

I love the MTAC, I wear it at 4:00 as this is most comfortable while in the car, seated at my desk and on the couch at home.
