Been busy but finally got my plastic the other day!! whoo hoo!! I'm certainly glad DPS got busy and is moving things along.

06/25/2009 - Paperwork Received
07/20/2009 - PIN Received
09/02/2009 - Application Completed - license issued or certificate active!
09/08/2009 - Plastic in Hand

I had the "fingerprint card two step and slide" ordeal myself. I probably lost 6 weeks of the process right there.

Yeah and ya know the aggravating part about the fingerprint ordeal....I had it done at the DPS by FAST electronically so nobody would mess it up. :shock: When I went back to do it the second time. Same place, same people, same prints???

I used the wrong format on my date of birth.X-XX-XXXX versus the "required" XX-XX-XXXX.
I am out of control :)

Congrats all!! I took my class in June with the rest of my family (wife, son, brother-in-law and sister-in-law). Wife and bro-in-law have received plastic, son and sister-in-law are showing application complete. Mine is still processing because I had a brain fade and forgot some info on one of my fingerprint cards. I think it will be at least another month for me. :banghead:
