Feels like Christmas is around the corner. I'll be racing home to check the mail 'till I get it.
Now I need to find and break in a holster. I guess I should have been working on that for the last couple of months.

:anamatedbanana

4guns2, you should only be so lucky. I've wondered about the Skipper or the Professor... nope, just Mary Anne, who I believe has been missing from a (8) hour tour for some time now... :headscratch What part of Central Texas are you dealing with? Temple/Belton here...

Out in Burnet.
Gilligan said paperwork will be handed to supervisor to see what is taking so long :rules:
Don't think I'll hold my breath for that one.
Gald to see so many others not having to wait so long now.
Maybe someday we'll get this thing "THE PLASTIC"
Then I can see how much longer and grayer the beard is

Am on day 112 (since packet received in Austin) and 77 since status changed. Although I'm happy the wait is ending for more and more people faster and faster...it's frustrating to still be a member of this message thread. :totap:

It *is* still nice to have company and encouragement, though. :thumbs2:

Ok, this doesn't seem right at all. :banghead:

I just got off the phone with my "rep" who is responsible for my application. I was just told that my application has not even been reviewed yet because "[they're] just swamped." Really? She told me that my application hasn't even been reviewed yet. She said she has to go over my paperwork and that if I am missing anything or something is wrong she will contact me by mail or by phone.

I sent in my application May 19th. They recieved it two days after. This seems like something that should be done right when status is changed to processing. Are you telling me someone hasn't even looked at my freaking application yet?!?!?

What in the hell is going on?

----- UPDATE

After reading some more in the waiting room, it seems like this may be a big miscommunication from my rep. I did have to wait 5 years prior to applying for a class B misdemeanor. It seems like my application is in review, which means, my paperwork was fine, and my background checks came back, but something came back on my background check. Once they review it and make sure I supplied the correct "paperwork" ( documents required explaining final disposition ), my license will be completed.

Let's hope that's what it is. :???:

dklag37 ~ I'm with ya on the "tomorrow" thing. I even texted my wife today and asked her if The Letter came. No joy.

We both got our "App Completed" on the 3rd, so hopefully 9/9/9 is gonna be our big day.
