Re: New yard sign
I think you left out "me" in the wording.
I know the OP's suggestion to put up this sign is merely in jest. I, for one, don't like to have signs that say things like, "Forget about the dog - beware of owner!" and have a picture of a handgun, etc. Not only does it seem confrontational but if I'm not at home, it just advertises that I am a gun owner and perhaps have some inside my home.
Good shooting, nevertheless!

Re: New yard sign
Funny that this topic came up today... a friend just emailed me this one:
I don't think I'll be putting it in my yard, but it made me laugh.

I think that shirt could eliminate your justification under section 9.31
did not provoke the person against whom the force was used

Yep....I was just jesting. Putting my ugly mug in the yard could scare small children and dogs.
My home is protected by motions lights, an alarm, a dog and Mossberg....in that order for the most part.
ps. Thanks for the heads up about the missing "me".
