I totally agree. If I were you I would definately be at least sending Charles' stock letter. I know that things are backed up in Harris, Galveston & Brazoria counties but that is totally too long.

Thanks for your support. I just got done emailing my senator, representative and the Govenor. Hopefully they can help.

Good for you tllstaco! You have been more than patient. it's to the point now where you are being treated unfairly.

The emailing is good, but telephoning just reinforces the point that action needs to be taken, of the utmost top urgency.

And follow up your emails and telephone calls until you get satisfaction, and what you deserve!

It Sunday, and for kicks and giggles I logged onto the DPS website. Guess what I found:

Application Completed - license issued or certificate active

i got you beat Im at 220 days and counting they told me a week ago Friday 1 to 2 weeks and should have it in hand. Im still on the count down or should i say count up.

Its Tuesday guys... Im following up my post about how long it was taking... I just logged on to the dps site and i went to do some other paperwork i was working on. I was really expecting it to say processing application still and I was trying to stave off the disappointment. However, to my complete suprise, It said Application COMPLETE!! Licsense Issued WoOOHOOoooOO.. First order of business when i get home is long awaited wallywalk :) :woohoo
