Plastic in hand! Finally! Only 132 days after taking my class, 130 after they received my app!
TX CHL since August 2009.

RIA 1911 5" with Winchester Ranger 230gr.

Nothing has arrived yet.... I've got a moat dug, and I'm quite well entrenched out here at camp Mailbox.
We ran out of wheat-thins last night though, and had to eat the alligators in the moat...

Hopefully it should arrive today.

I finally got my plastic. I submitted everything to DPS the first week of April, and got my license in the mail on Saturday..Aug. 29! About 6 weeks ago a I emailed my State Rep and his office contacted DPS and expedited the completion of the application. At that point the application was in the background check process. It still took six weeks from the suppposed expediting, until I got the license. I am just glad I finally got it...but the performance of our gommint is an abomination!!!!
