Did my ammo run to the Walmart at I-35 and Parmer this morning. Employee (that I've chatted with and is a real nice guy) was marking up all ammo $1 per box. He gave me last two boxes of Federal 9mm at $8.97 (old price). They had lot of Federal .40 S&W if anybody needs some.

Also the Round Rock Walmart had a lot of Federal .40 S&W. I snagged the last 100 round box of Winchester .45 ACP for $30 and a brick of Federal .22LR.

I stopped at Academy in Lewisville this afternoon looking over the ammo selection. I was suprised to find a pretty good selection of ammo. Monarch brass FMJ in .45 for $19.00/box of 50, WWB in .45 for $23.00/box of 50. I didn't check the other prices, but they had plenty of 9mm and .40, but still no .380.

Plenty of handguns, also.

Lately I have been able to get most of the ammo I need (mostly 9mm) from my local Wal-Mart on Leslie Road near 1604 in San Antonio at reasonable prices. Over a thousand rounds to prep for the State IDPA Championship next week.

Wally World on 75 and Spring Creek in Plano had several 50 count boxes of Federal FMJ in 40 S&W. I purchased 6 of them before realizing that Wally World has increased the prices since last week by a dollar a box to 13.97. They are still cheaper than Academy.

Wally on Spencer had lots of 45 and 40, nothing much else last Friday. But most Academy's have everything but .380, and I've even found that here and there. I can actually go practice without worry lately.

I believe it is actually more than that at Academy for the WWB 45 acp. Last time I checked with them they were getting around 42 per 100 round box. That was maybe a month ago. If it is 22, buy all of it you can get. That would be a steal for 45acp

OMG, Academy in San Angelo has .380acp in stock. First time I have seen it in stock in San Angelo in forever. They had Monarch, WWB, and Remington. I ended up buying 4 boxes of WWB.
